100 Songs for 2012: Outtakes, Day Five

100 Songs for 2012 will be available December 10.  Every day between now and then, we'll be looking at five quality songs that didn't make the cut.

Today, Sweden!  Always and forever Sweden.  Actually kind of a down year for Sweden (that's what happens when there's no Robyn album), but we'll give them points for Max Martin producing all the best Taylor Swift songs, half points for the fact that most of my favorite pop songs of the year really did sound Swedish (CHVRCHES!), and ... who am I kidding?  It's always a banner year for Sweden.  (There are, as of right now, seven songs by Swedish artists on 100 Songs for 2012).

Miike Snow - "Devil's Work"

Taken By Trees - "Dreams"

Icona Pop - "Good for You"

Jens Lekman - "I Know What Love Isn't"

The Tallest Man on Earth - "1904"
