I started making year-end 100 Songs lists in 2008, mostly because it seemed like a lot more fun than studying for finals. So, if we're going to be "technical" and "accurate" about things, 100 Songs for 2014 will be the seventh annual. However, as you may remember, I went back and did retroactive 100 Songs lists for 2005-2007. So, in that alternate and "not real" universe, 100 Songs for 2014 is the tenth annual. What a milestone! In that it it not a real milestone at all!
It is, however, 1,000 songs. Which is a lot of songs.
