100 Songs for 2016: Outtakes Week (Day Two)

[We are six days away from 100 Songs for 2016! Between now and then, we're taking a look at some great songs that just missed the cut.]
A bunch of my all-time favorite artists came out with new music this year, but some missed the cut for 100 Songs for 2016. Today we celebrate these artists the only way we know how ... obsessive list-making.

For each artist who fell short in 2016, a Top Five highlighting their past greatness.
